We invite you to join us for a transformative experience that will fuel your creativity, ignight your passion, and connect you with a community of fellow creatives.

An All-Inclusive Escape
During this 5 day, all-inclusive retreat, our intimate group of 9 women will immerse ourselves in connection, culture, play, relaxation, exploration, inspiration, celebration, and process art in the magical town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We'll engage in a variety of creative workshops and activities led by talented instructors who are experts in their fields. From printmaking, to paper maché, to sewing, there's something for everyone! We will visit local shops and art galleries, enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine, toast with drinks at sunset, and finish our days in cozy conversation or immersing ourselves in the culture and festivities of San Miguel!
The magic of Neon Flow goes well beyond the workshops. It's about forming deep connections with like-minded women who share your love for creativity. It's about late-night discussions under the stars, laughter with new friends, and moments of inspiration that will stay with you long after the retreat is over.

Process Art
is for Everyone
(Yes, You!)

About Process Art
Process art is an approach to art-making that emphasizes the experience of creating rather than the final product. It encourages individuals to explore materials, experiment with techniques, and express their emotions freely. In our retreat, we embrace process art by allowing participants to engage in each project without the pressure of perfection. This approach fosters a sense of playfulness and discovery, enabling participants to tap into their intrinsic creativity. The focus is on the journey of creation, encouraging self-reflection and personal growth through artistic expression.
No art experience necessary!

Fall 2025
DÍA DE MUERTOS
Celebrate the Day of the Dead in San Miguel for this very special retreat edition!

Join us for an inspiring and transformative retreat with a special themed celebration for Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). This retreat is designed for women who wish to connect with their creativity, honor their past loved ones, and immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of this beautiful holiday in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
What is Día de Muertos?
Día de Muertos (often reffered to as Día de Los Muertos) emerged in Mexico from a rich history that combines Aztec traditions and the Catholic influence of All Soul’s Day. The modern celebration has evolved to beautifully intertwine remembrance of ancestors with artistic expression.
Traditionally celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, San Miguel De Allende celebrates for the entire week leading up to November 2nd. Families create stunning ofrendas (altars) that are transformed into vivid artistic installations, featuring flowers, sugar skulls, pan de muerto (bread of the dead), candles, photographs and personal mementos that honor the lives of the deceased. Día de Muertos represents a beautiful fusion of cultural tradition and artistic expression. For artists, it provides unique inspiration in its symbols, colors, and celebration of family, life, and the afterlife.
Día de Muertos in San Miguel de Allende
San Miguel de Allende is known for its wildly creative festivals and celebrations. Día de Muertos is the pinnacle of these festivities, with spectacular art installations, parades, alters, music, dance, food, and fireworks. Set in this magical town, with a glowing community and a unique combination of traditional folklore and contemporary art, this will be an experience you will never forget.

FEATURED PROJECTS
Our Día de Muertos art projects foster self-expression, mindfulness, and a deeper connection to our ancestors and loved ones, making for a transformative and enriching experience. All materials and technique approaches will be provided.
1. Skeleton Paper Maché Masks
Participants will create their own unique skeleton masks, inspired by traditional Día de Muertos designs. Using a variety of materials, including paper maché, paints, embellishments, and more, attendees will craft masks that reflect their personal stories with the vibrancy that San Miguel inspires.
2. Gelli Plate Prints
Dive into the world of printmaking with gelli plate printing! This fun and accessible technique allows participants to create layered prints that can be used for cards, decorations, or personal keepsakes. Playing with botanicals, stencils, and new techniques shared, each print will serve as a colorful reminder of the beauty of life.
3. Hand Sewing Projects
Engage in the meditative art of sewing as we create fabric pieces to add to our alters. Participants will have the opportunity to sew small hearts, pouches, banners, or other textile art that can be used to hold mementos or serve as offerings on altars.
4. Ofrendas (Altars)
In this heartfelt project, we’ll create personal altars to honor those we cherish who have passed away. We’ll gather meaningful items, photos, collage materials, and art pieces to craft beautiful tributes that celebrate our deceased loved ones and keep their memories alive. As we explore the town, we will find inspiration through visiting public ofrendas on display as well as beautiful shops where you can find cute miniatures and unique treasures to add to your altars.
Bonus Mini Mastermind
If we have any art studio owners or art teachers in attendance, Kebby will be leading a mini mastermind session during one of our free time blocks for those who are interested in mentorship around teaching and business.
LOCATION
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
San Miguel de Allende is a quaint colonial town in the central highlands of Mexico. It was named an UNESCO world heritage site in 2008 for its Baroque architecture, the mixed influences of European and Latin American cultures, and the prevalent art. While it’s popularity has grown from years of being named the best small city in the world by Conde Nast, it maintains a small-town vibe with a strong sense of community and a thriving art and culinary scene. Not to mention it is often noted as one of the safest cities in Mexico.
But more than anything there is a magical quality to San Miguel that evokes a creative spirit and serendipitous happenings. To revel in this mystifying energy, creative inspiration is inevitable!
